110/35/6 kV Substation "Kuryazh"
In 2021, General Energy supplied equipment for a 110 kV outdoor switchgear manufactured by GE and TRENCH to the contractor PSK EnergoBud LLC, which carried out the reconstruction on behalf of JSC Kharkivoblenergo.
The project involved converting the substation to 110/35/10/6 kV with the installation of a new T-4 110/35/10 kV power transformer and the necessary high-voltage equipment. This decision was driven by the growth in electricity consumption in the region among both the population and industrial enterprises.
The increase in voltage class will reduce electricity losses, stabilize the voltage level, and maintain the load on network elements within acceptable limits.
General Energy's delivery included one 110 kV GL312 F1/4031 P gas-insulated switch and three 110 kV IOSK 123 current transformers with paper-oil insulation. All equipment complies with international standards and ensures a high level of reliability and safety in operation.
The reconstruction of the Kuryazh substation was an important step in strengthening the energy infrastructure of the Kharkiv region and created conditions for further development of the network, taking into account the growing needs of consumers.
