35/10 kV Substation "Uzhhorod-7"
2021 marked the modernization of the Uzhgorod-7 substation. As part of this project, General Energy supplied 35 kV OVB-VBF series vacuum circuit breakers manufactured by ABB to ENERGY-BUD-MONTAGE LLC, which carried out the reconstruction on behalf of Zakarpattyaoblenergo PJSC.
The reconstruction included a range of technical works: installation of 35 and 10 kV cable lines, implementation of relay protection and automation systems on the 110 kV side, installation of power transformers, replacement of 35 kV switchgear equipment, and commissioning works.
The delivery from General Energy included 4 OVB-VBF 40.25.32 vacuum circuit breakers, which ensure reliable switching control, minimal losses, and a high level of safety in the operation of the network. Thanks to this project, the substation received modern switching equipment, which increases the stability of electricity supply in Uzhhorod and the surrounding areas.
