Kaniv HPP Branch

In 2021, General Energy supplied high-voltage equipment for the needs of the Kanivska HPP branch of PJSC Ukrhydroenergo. The supply was made to the contractor UKRENERGI HOLDING LLC, which implemented a project to modernize equipment at the hydroelectric power plant substation.

As part of the work, a 110 kV GL312 F1/4031 P gas-insulated switch manufactured by GE was supplied for an open switchgear (110 kV) connecting VT-5. This modern switching equipment ensures a high level of reliability and safety, minimizes power losses during switching operations, and is designed for stable operation under continuous loads.

The installation of the new circuit breaker is part of the Kaniv HPP equipment modernization program aimed at improving the efficiency of the power plant and reducing operating costs. This solution increases the stability of the power system, reduces the risk of emergencies, and ensures uninterrupted power supply to consumers.

The implementation of this project confirms General Energy's ability to provide modern and technologically advanced solutions for strategic energy facilities in Ukraine, supporting their stable operation and development.
