110/35/10/6 kV Substation "SiM"

In 2021, General Energy joined the modernization of an important energy facility — the Serp i Molot (SiM) substation. Our task was to supply high-voltage equipment for a 110 kV outdoor switchgear manufactured by GE and TRENCH to the contractor Mirenergokom LLC, which was performing work on behalf of JSC Kharkivoblenergo.

The technical re-equipment included the replacement of the T-2 power transformer of the TDTNG-40500/110/ZTZ type with a new TDTN-40000/110-U1 transformer, which will ensure increased reliability and efficiency of the facility. At the same time, work was carried out on the dismantling and installation of equipment for the 110 kV substation, 36 kV substation, 10 kV substation, and 6 kV substation.

As part of the supply, General Energy provided a 110 kV GL312 F1/4031 P gas-insulated switch and three 110 kV IOSK 123 current transformers with paper-oil insulation. This equipment meets international quality standards and ensures stable network operation even at peak loads.

The implementation of this project was another step towards strengthening the energy infrastructure of the Kharkiv region, increasing the reliability of electricity supply, and creating a reserve of capacity for the future needs of industry and the population.
